These documents, and only these, represent the policies of the Association agreed either by the Annual General Meeting or our Central Council according to our constitution. Anything else on the website, our Twitter or anywhere else, is just someone’s opinion. Discussions and proposals about what our policy ought to be are here.
We have been discussing policies about health the development of health services since 1930. The documents listed below may not represent our current thinking. You will also find reports from most of our conferences on their own page. More historical material is here. Our latest strategy document is here.
Although many of our members are very interested in the world outside the UK we have agreed for many years that as an organisation we confine our policies to the United Kingdom. We do not have the resources to address anything more.
