Valuing a diverse workforce in the NHS

Coventry Quaker Meeting House Saturday 10th July 2010 11am-3pm

This event is designed for NHS and other health and social care staff who come from what is called a minority background. Mostly we will be addressing ethnic diversity, but the issues in relation to other sorts of minorities are not very different.

The main issues we plan to address are

  • Uniting Policy & Practice; – whyis the NHS still snow capped?
  • Improving quality of services through valuing and rewarding staff ;
  • The role of the unions and HR in staff  disputes.
  • Using data and information (staff surveys)
  • How diversity makes teams productive
  • Diversity down the track
