Labour Conference

The 2025 Labour Conference will take place in Liverpool.

The SHA Central Council has elected two delegates and is sending a small team who will be able to report back to members as in previous years.

This year we have submitted a rule change (which may be debated next year – see below) and our Central Council has agreed an emergency motion on Palestine.

In the meantime we are seeking to influence CLPs. Our local SHA branches have submitted contemporary motions to CLPs where they are affiliated and have members. A number of CLPs in SE England have backed motions on child poverty and Palestine.

We are organising two fringe events this year, please share using social media.

The results of our nomination poll for deputy leader are now in – thanks to those of you who participated.
