The NHS is the jewel in the crown of the Labour Party’s achievements. It embodies the socialist principle of from each according to their ability to each according to their need.
It is critical that we do all we can to ensure that under the incoming Labour Government it is not only fully funded but also that an end is put to the creeping privatisation and outsourcing which is undermining our NHS.
If re-elected I aim to continue to be a firm advocate for the NHS and the principles upon which it was founded by Nye Bevan
